The Cut Line
In most PGA Tour events, the field is cut to the top 65 players and ties after the first two rounds. However, the Masters Tournament is different. The cut line at the Masters is the top 50 players and ties after the second round.
The Cut Line This Year
After the first round of the 2023 Masters Tournament, the cut line is projected to be at +4. Here are the players who are currently projected to make the cut, as well as their current scores:
Francesco Molinari +4
Bryson DeChambeau +4
Tom Hoge +4
Mike Weir +4
Justin Thomas +4
etc.
The second round of the Masters Tournament begins on Friday, April 7th. The cut line will be determined at the end of the second round, and the top 50 players and ties will advance to the weekend rounds.
